2020 Year in Review: Weddings and Engagements
I am one of those people who like to reflect on both my personal life and business. I like to see where I can improve and how far I’ve come. So, in today’s blog post, I am sharing my favorite moments of 2020 year in review: Weddings and Engagements. (Yes, despite a global pandemic, there were so many moments this year that I absolutely loved)

The Cliffhouse
First, no 2020 year in review would be complete without my very first wedding of the year at Cliff House. Catie and Bronson had such a lovely wedding day at a historic white church turned wedding venue.

This Milestone Aubrey wedding was absolutely dreamy. Alex was giving me all the old Hollywood Vibes!
Morgan Creek Barn
I wish I could go back and relive this one at Morgan Creek Barn. Austin and Jessica were such a joy to work with and I loved the bright, bold colors. It was the perfect summer wedding. No wonder Tacari Weddings featured this wedding on their blog!
The Silver Spur Resort
Another perfectly peachy summer wedding was this one at Spur Creek Ranch. Laura and Nicholas were such a sweet couple and they could not have had a cuter theme to their wedding.
Intimate wedding
Due to Covid, Cameran and Richard opted to do an intimate ceremony with only their parents in attendance. They are waiting until 2021 to celebrate with their friends and family. It was a beautiful ceremony at their childhood church. Plus, Cameran and I had a blast doing her bridals at Barnhill Vineyards!

Special Moments Wedding Chapel
Bayli and Haden tied the knot at a little white chapel in Lewisville, Texas. It was a beautiful intimate wedding with lots of love and laughter!
Ashton Gardens
This Ashton Gardens wedding had it all. A gorgeous venue, perfect clouds, glowy skies, an amazing couple! I just love so many of their portraits!!!
Magnolia Grace Ranch
This wedding at Magnolia Grace Ranch seriously was so beautiful. Bri and Tom, where do I even begin? I am so glad I was able to capture this special day for you.
The Springs Rockwall
Heather and Caleb’s wedding at the Springs in Rockwall is such a stunner. Heather looked breathtaking in her Grace loves Lace gown. I fell in love with so many of their portraits.
The Barn at Paradise Plantation
It was a hot summer day for Erin and Tim’s wedding at The Barn at Paradise Plantation. I’m not complaining though, because that sunset glow was downright perfect and we have lots of dreamy portraits to show for it.

Tiffany and Greg tied the knot at The Hilton Southlake. There was a beautiful patio overlooking a pond, The weather was beautiful and Tiffany made the day so much fun. She has the best personality. I also drooled when I saw her bridal details…Can I just play with these all day?

Intimate Wedding at Home
Ross and Jennifer got married at an intimate ceremony at their house and a small reception that followed at their favorite wine bar. It was such a beautiful and sweet day as these two merged their families.

Courthouse Wedding
Lisa and George’s wedding got postponed due to Covid but the two decided to still get married in a private ceremony at the courthouse. Can you believe that all of their portraits were taken at the back of the courthouse building right next to the parking lot?

Nasher Sculpture Center
Laci and Collin had an intimate wedding at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Downtown Dallas. It has been a a dream of mine to photograph a wedding there. Despite drizzle and cold temps, these two were the only thing I could focus on. This portrait of them under the willow tree might be my favorite of all time.

French Famhouse
Another Covid reschedule, Paige and Ryan decided to postpone their big celebration until 2021 but had an intimate ceremony at the French Farmhouse with their closest family members. It was so exciting to shoot at the French Farmhouse because it had just opened up and IT IS GORGEOUS!

Jaycee and Daniel said “I do” at Rustic Grace Estates and it was such a beautiful Fall day. They are the sweetest couple! They made the day so much fun and I even love that they incorporated their two dogs into the reception by getting life-sized cardboard cutouts of them to put next to the favor table.

The Pines on Lake Granbury
Kendra and Jake got married in a lakeside ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends. Kendra looked radiant in her wedding gown and I loved her Fall colors!
Aristide Flower Mound
Laura and Wes had their wedding at Aristide Flower Mound. Again, I loved the bold fall colors that Laura chose for her decor. It was the perfect pop of color. I had a field day with their portraits during golden hour. These two were so kind and easy to work with!

Hidden Pines – Hurst
Patricia and Stephen had their wedding at Hidden Pines Hurst. It was such a beautiful wedding with absolutely wonderful people. I enjoyed getting to know their friends and family. One of my favorite parts of their day was the guitar player and vocalist singing during the ceremony.

Lauren was a show-stopper in her gown. Her dress and florals seemed straight from the pages of a wedding editorial. It was such a pleasure to work with vendors like Alexa Kay Events and Alba Dahlia Florals. It was a day with stunning details and a gorgeous couple…What more could you ask for?

The Olana
I had the pleasure of working with Savannah Peterson on Dana and Adele’s wedding at The Olana. It was so pretty and they paid such close attention to details. I think I might have been in photographer heaven! Plus…Can i just say, These guys knew how to PARTAY! The energy was amazing and even had me grooving on the dance floor a bit.

Jessica and Emily’s wedding at the French Farmhouse couldn’t have been more perfect. I also really loved working with vendors like jessica Stoughton and Paislee Events. It was an overcast day, but man, did we use that to our advantage. They have so many portraits I love.

Maci and Cooper’s sunset ceremony at Stone Crest Venue was one of the prettiest outdoor ceremonies I’ve seen. Just look at that glowy light!

Ending my 2020 Year in Review with Kat and Tom’s wedding at Brake and Clutch Warehouse. It was so different that any other venue I had shot at before and it did not disappoint. Kat and Thomas’ wedding was sophisticated, modern and beautiful. I can’t wait to go back to this cool again!
I hope y’all enjoyed my 2020 Year in Review! It is fun reliving the gorgeous wedding days I got to document. I’m gonna miss my 2020 brides but I can’t wait to see where life takes them on this new chapter of their lives.
