Whitney and Landon’s Engagement at Flippen Park was FLIPPIN’ awesome! Hahaha. Seriously so happy these two chose this location for their engagement session! They were so much fun to work with too! Landon made me laugh until my face hurt. 🙂

These two will be getting married this May at The Springs in Anna, TX. I know it is going to be so much fun with these two! Thanks for trusting me to capture this special day in your lives!

About the couple

How did you two meet?

We have been friends within the dance community for years. A few years ago, we both were single and decided to spend some time together as friends and ended up hitting it off.

What was it about your significant other that first attracted you to them?

Whitney: His goofy and inviting nature. Also, he’s very tall, and I’m a fan.

Landon: The fact that she didn’t feel the need to wear revealing clothing to be attractive. She wore a ball cap to a bar one of the first times I remember her.

Tell us your engagement story!

Landon had convinced me pretty well that he didn’t have the ring yet. We decided to go on a fancy date night since we’d been locked up for Covid and got a hotel room at the Statler. We were going to get a fancy hotel, have a nice dinner, and just spend some quality time with each other. He ended up taking me up to the roof and proposing there, and our entire families came to dinner with us.

What has you most excited when you think about your wedding day?

Both: The brownie bar. <—- LOVE IT

Do you have any advice for other couples planning their wedding?

Whitney: Don’t stress the small stuff. As long as your guests are fed, they’re usually happy. Everything else is for you. Don’t let the stress take the fun out of it.

Landon: Give up and let her do it.

How was your overall session experience?

Whitney: Very relaxed and laid back (which is my preference). I was worried about looking awkward in photos, but Kimberly does a great job of helping you pose.

Landon: Fun! Best I’ve looked in pictures in long time.

Share something interesting about your significant other!

Whitney: He has webbed toes.

Landon: She’s an ordained minister.
