Whitney and Landon got married (again) this past weekend at The Springs Stone Hall. I first met Whitney and Landon during their engagement session last Fall and couldn’t wait for their wedding! What’s really cool about this couple is that Landon’s family has a tradition of getting married on the same day so that everyone has the same anniversary. So, they officially got married on April 12th, but they wanted to have a day that was unique to them as well.

This wedding was so much fun. Not only are Whitney and Landon just a hoot to be around but so are all their friends! Let me just say that I’ve never seen so many amazing dancers in one place! Whitney and Landon actually met through a dancing community so I guess it is no surprise that they all showed up with their dancing shoes ready!

Advice from the Bride

What was your Wedding Planning Experience like How did you feel, how did you handle any stress? Was it easier or more difficult than you first thought?

Wedding planning went smoothly for me. I have a background in project management, so it’s pretty typical to my day to day. It was about what I expected, but I’m very used to stress from work.

Advice to Brides who are currently planning their Weddings

Take things piece by piece. Break it down into something palatable and never be afraid to ask for help. Don’t think you have to do all of the traditions if you don’t want to. Also, as much as you feel like everyone’s opinion’s matter, they don’t. Feed them and they will be fine. This is YOUR day. Don’t waste money or energy on anything that doesn’t bring you joy. If you and your groom/bride agree upon it, nothing else matters.
