Dallas – Fort Worth Wedding Photographer | Summer Wedding at D’Vine Grace Vineyards
Holy cannoli! I absolutely loved being a part of Lisa and Eric’s Summer Wedding at D’Vine Grace Vineyards! This Tuscan inspired wedding venue is located in McKinney, Texas and surrounded by a gorgeous vineyard and pond.
It is really hard to narrow down my favorite moment from this sweet couple’s wedding. I loved just being around them on this special day…the hilarious speeches from their loved ones …epic dancing. It was such a fun day filled with love and laughter from the best people.
I am so excited for these two! I first met Lisa and Eric at their engagement session at Murrell Park. It was so much fun getting to know them and their cute pup!
I hope you enjoy just a few (and I mean a few because there are so many) of my favorites from Lisa and Eric’s summer wedding at D’vine Grace Vineyards.
Engagement Story
Eric proposed on May 23rd. The proposal was extremely thoughtful and worked out better than we could’ve imagined. His parents wedding anniversary is 5/19 and this year was their 30th wedding anniversary. My parents wedding anniversary is 5/24 and they were celebrating 34 years of marriage. Eric decided to propose right in between them on the 23rd.
Eric proposed at Belo Mansion in downtown Dallas which is where his parents got married! My sister and her fiancé came down from Tulsa for the weekend. They brought their dog Winston as well. On Saturday, my sister had the idea to get dressed up and to go take pictures with our dogs because she wanted a new Instagram picture. I never say no to a photoshoot. We went and took pictures at Klyde Warren Park in downtown. After, my sister suggested going to a mansion right around the corner. When we got there, I saw Eric and our parents. I quickly gave Bentley to my mom to hold and walked over to where Eric was. Eric explained the significance of where we were before he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. He had made a heart using rose petals. Afterwards, we all went back to his parents house and celebrated being newly engaged.
Advice From The Bride:
What was your Wedding Planning Experience like How did you feel, how did you handle any stress? Was it easier or more difficult than you first thought?
Wedding planning has gone well. I am lucky to have an amazing support system who helps with the majority of it. My future mother in law loves to plan so she has taken the reigns. She brings me samples and then I choose from them. It has been nice with all the little details I did not think about.
Difficult: Balancing work and planning during a pandemic. It was hard to schedule all the phone calls and keep up with all the emails from different vendors. Also picking vendors was stressful.
