Kaylee and Shawn’s Gaylord Texan engagement session was so incredibly sweet. These two were so easy to talk to and fun to photograph. I actually met Kaylee because she was a bridesmaid in Lucy and Ted’s wedding early this year.

I am so excited that Kaylee asked me to be her wedding photographer. She and Shawn are tying the knot next April at Montclair Venue and let me tell you…I am here for it. I know it is going to be a fun event!

After not being able to travel bc of Covid, we finally booked a beach getaway to Gulf Shores. I really wanted for us to get some nice pictures together while we were there. We had planned to take a sunset walk for our pictures. Once golden hour hit, we went on a walk down the beach to find the best location to take the pictures. Little did I know Shawn was leading the way to a picnic blanket set up with roses, candles, and champagne. He also had a song playing that he had written! Bring on all the tears. Shawn got down on one knee and the rest is a complete happy blur. It was absolutely perfect.
