What is the first thing couples but once they get engaged? It’s usually their venue. this is for a good reason, as the venue usually dictates the date.
Here are my favorite North Texas wedding venues that I shot at last year. My top priorities when choosing my favorite venues is lighting, design and functionality.

Favorite North Texas Wedding Venues
D’Vine Grace Vineyards
I love shooting at D’Vine Grace Vineyards. They have made this venue feel like a destination wedding venue right in the heart of McKinney. Not only is the venue itself offer stunning views and variety, the staff is also really amazing. Kayley always goes above and beyond making vendors feel welcome!
Another perk of D’Vine Grace Vineyards is that they have in house catering and let me tell you – it is delicious! it’s honestly one of the best meals I have had a wedding and I’ve experienced a lot. Check out Lisa and Eric’s Wedding at Kim and Jeff’s Wedding
The Olana
The Olana is a breathtaking, luxurious venue located in the heart of Corinth. This mansion is perfect for black-tie affairs, has plenty of room to host your guests, and includes a variety of beautiful portrait locations that each say “elegance” in a unique way.

This year, I was able to shoot an engagement session there and I had so much fun exploring the grounds. It’s so big, you could shoot multiple weddings here and they could each have their own unique feel.
The Hillside Estate
This is one of the newest venues to grace north Texas and it did not disappoint. I had the pleasure of shooting multiple weddings at this gorgeous venue this year.
It’s European inspired design, abundance of natural light and stylish interiors make this a perfect venue for any wedding day.
French Farmhouse
This Parisian Farmhouse boasts beautiful vintage details throughout, lots of natural light and numerous picturesque places for portraits — it’s no wonder people are taking notice! Plus, There are several options for the ceremony, making it a super versatile venue.
Another important quality of this venue is that the owners are just the sweetest people. They make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in and are always there to lend a helping hand.
Hotel Crescent Court
I have fallen in love with Hotel Crescent Court! For a couples looking for a more urban setting for their nuptials… Crescent Court hotel is a top choice. With large getting ready rooms with lots of natural light, a fantastic courtyard for your ceremony and a gorgeous ballroom for your reception … it checks all the boxes!
