Kaylee and Shawn’s newborn lifestyle session at Lemon drop Studios in McKinney, Texas, was an absolute delight. Welcoming their precious baby boy in March filled the studio with an aura of pure joy and tender moments. Having photographed their engagement and then their wedding two years ago, it was incredibly heartwarming to witness them embark on this beautiful new chapter of parenthood. Kaylee and Shawn seemed so comfortable in their new role as mom and dad. Even though sleep deprived, they doted on their little man and soaked in every little face he made. That was also one of my favorite things when I was a parent to a newborn. I would just watch their little faces for hours. So cute! It was such a joy to meet this little guy! He is such a calm, easy going baby…at least at our session. Kaylee and Shawn laughed and said he’s completely different at 3am. LOL
As we captured the sweetest moments of cuddles, giggles, and tiny toes, the love between Kaylee, Shawn, and their newborn son was evident through every frame. I loved getting to see them again! Lemon drop Studios provided the perfect backdrop for this intimate session, with its cozy atmosphere and soft natural light adding an extra touch of warmth to the already heartwarming session. Seeing Kaylee and Shawn embrace the journey of parenthood with such grace and love was truly inspiring, and I feel honored to have been able to document these precious early moments of their growing family.
