Oh, let me tell you about Brooke and Blake’s engagement session at the Dallas Arboretum! It was an absolute dream. As a wedding vendor myself, I couldn’t have asked for a more delightful day surrounded by the beauty of nature and the company of such knowledgeable friends. Brooke and Blake own a flower farm and are talented wedding florists right here in DFW! Their company is Blooms by Brookie and you should definitely go check them out!
Exploring the Arboretum with Brooke and Blake was like embarking on a botanical adventure; they seemed to know everything about every plant we encountered. From the intriguing scent of the corpse flower to the mysterious blooms that only open at night, every moment was filled with wonder and discovery. Blake even introduced me to a plant that the leaves smelled like buttered popcorn. Out of this world cool! I learned so much from them. 10/10 recommend exploring the gardens with a florist friend!
What struck me most about Brooke and Blake’s engagement session was their genuine passion for their craft and each other. It’s no surprise that they’re planning to go all out on their wedding flowers – after all, who better to create a floral masterpiece than two talented florists deeply in love?
How did it begin?
They had a very unconventional first date, where they pretended to be married for a styled shoot. “The Groom” that day was a no show and Brooke had just met this guy named Blake and asked him to step in and he did! The rest is history. It’s as if fate had already woven their love story together and they were meant to be!
