Private Estate Wedding | Blake and Brooke’s Wedding Day

Oh my goodness, where do I even begin with Blake and Brooke’s wedding day?! As a wedding photographer who has had the absolute joy of working with these two as fellow wedding vendors, getting to capture their big day was extra special. I always recommend their floral business to my couples because they are not only insanely talented but also two of the kindest, most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet. So when they chose me to document their wedding, I was beyond honored—because let’s be real, they work with a LOT of photographers, and it truly meant the world to be their choice!

Their wedding day was packed with so many incredible moments, but one of the most jaw-dropping had to be when Blake’s dad handed him a Super Bowl ring to wear. My mouth literally dropped. To me, his parents were always just Jay and Amy—so imagine my shock when I realized that Jay is actually Jay Novacek from the Dallas Cowboys! Did I feel a little dumb? Absolutely. But honestly, it just speaks to how humble and kind this entire family is.

And can we talk about the florals?! Of course, Blake and Brooke went all out, creating the most breathtaking, vibrant, and romantic floral displays for their tented reception and outdoor ceremony. It was nothing short of a floral wonderland! Every detail was so intentional, bringing a bold and colorful energy that felt like pure magic. And the setting? Oh, just the home of Taya Kyle! Yes, that Taya Kyle—wife of the legendary Chris Kyle, American Sniper. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, adding yet another special touch to this already amazing day.

If I had to sum up this wedding in a few words, they would be: beautiful, warm, and loving. From start to finish, the joy was infectious. One of the sweetest moments? After Blake finished his vows, he was so excited to kiss Brooke that he just went for it right then and there—cue the chuckles from everyone! It was the perfect little snapshot of how much these two absolutely adore each other.

Cocktail hour took place poolside, and it was nothing short of dreamy! Umbrellas full of flowers floated elegantly in the pool, creating the most magical atmosphere. Guests mingled, sipped on cocktails, and helped themselves to the most delicious grazing board, which featured warm pretzel bites and cheese dip. It was the perfect way to transition from the heartfelt ceremony to the night of celebration ahead.

The night ended in the best way possible—with everyone dancing the night away to the Royal Dukes Band. Guests sipped on signature drinks crafted by HD Liquid Catering and enjoyed the most delicious cake by Kayli Bakes Cakes. It was a celebration filled with laughter, happy tears, and so much love.
