There’s something so special about photographing a wedding when I already feel like part of the family! Emily and Will’s wedding at The Milestone Denton was extra sweet because I photographed Emily’s sister Sara’s wedding last October. Walking into this wedding felt like a mini-reunion, and my heart was so full seeing this incredible family again!
From the moment I arrived, there was an energy of love and excitement in the air. Emily was absolutely glowing in her wedding dress, and when her dad, Allen, saw her for the first time? Cue the tears! His emotional first look with his daughter was one of those moments that reminds me why I love what I do—capturing raw, beautiful emotions that will be cherished for a lifetime.
After a heartfelt ceremony, guests moved to the back lawn for a relaxed and joyful cocktail hour. The weather was perfect, laughter filled the air, and the celebration truly began! But the real party started once everyone hit the dance floor. Emily and Will’s reception was a nonstop blast, with guests showing off their best moves and soaking up every moment of the night.
