Ashley and Ryan had their intimate winter wedding at The Mason, a beautiful venue nestled in the heart of Oak Cliff. Being a cold December day, The Mason was the perfect location with its stunning interiors and cozy fireplace in the reception hall.
As Ashley walked down the aisle, she couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear as she locked eyes with Ryan. They exchanged vows and rings, symbolizing their love and commitment to one another.
After the ceremony, the reception was held in the grand ballroom. Guest grabbed champagne as they headed upstairs for a night of dancing and celebration! Ashley and Ryan danced the night away surrounded by their loved ones. It was a magical and unforgettable evening that they would always cherish.
Can’t believe I first met these two earlier this year for their engagement session at Adriatica Village. Gosh, the year just flew by!

What was your Wedding Planning Experience like How did you feel, how did you handle any stress? Was it easier or more difficult than you first thought?
Pretty good. A lot more tasks than I ever would have expected. Trying to balance the insta-worthy wedding with expectations was difficult at times. Rising wedding costs was crazy; it was hard to ask friends for their experiences with vendors/cost when it changed so drastically over the last few years. I wish I would have done less DIY items. It was time consuming sometimes. Ryan had to talk me through the stress at times and a glass of wine or cocktail usually helps. 🙂
Advice to Brides who are currently planning their Weddings
Try to plan certain items in as far advance as possible. A lot of vendors were already booked up even a year out. Set realistic expectations. Budget higher than you think; you’ll likely exceed your budget. If you DIY anything, find a big group to help!
