After several years of dating, Cassie and Josh tied the knot during a winter wedding at Reflections Gardens and Venue in Plano, Texas. The gardens were absolutely breathtaking and it felt like there was a hint of Christmas in the air.

Cassie and Josh were both very excited for their big day. Cassie spent months planning every detail, from the invitations to the floral arrangements. Everything came together perfectly.. On the day of the wedding, Cassie slipped into her beautiful white dress with the most beautiful lace sleeves and looked absolutely stunning. Josh, meanwhile, was dashing in his black tuxedo and Captain America Cufflinks.

The ceremony took place in the beautiful chapel overlooking the gardens. It was a sweet ceremony where Cassie’s 99 year old grandfather walked her down the aisle to give her away and Josh’s dad read a scripture and gave the couple some sound marriage advice. Cassie and Josh’s dog, Nova, was also included in the ceremony. She walked Josh down the aisle and laid close by as they exchanged vows.

After the ceremony, the reception was held in a grand ballroom adjacent to the chapel. Guests enjoyed grazing on a beautiful charcuterie board of treats as they waited for family formals to conclude. The reception was decorated with garlands of pine and holly, and a Christmas tree stood nearby with customized ornaments embossed with the couples last name.

The tables were decorated with greenery and gold candles. The guests were treated to a delicious meal and lots of dancing. As the night wore on, Cassie and Josh took to the dance floor for their first dance as a married couple. They swayed to a romantic song, lost in each other’s eyes, as their friends and family looked on with love. Next, Cassie shared a first dance with her grandfather. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the whole room.

It was a truly magical day, and Cassie and Josh were over the moon with happiness. They were grateful to have found each other and to be able to share their special day with their loved ones.

Cassie and Josh, Thank you for having me there to help you celebrate. I know your love will continue to grow and flourish for many happy years to come. Enjoy this new chapter and a few of my favorites from their winter wedding at Reflections gardens.

From the Bride

What was your Wedding Planning Experience like How did you feel, how did you handle any stress? Was it easier or more difficult than you first thought?

I’m pretty relaxed in general. I haven’t stressed much besides the finances. I tend to go with the flow, which drove Josh crazy! It was fairly easy but the procrastinator in me made it more difficult than it should have been. I’d say it was also difficult researching vendors and choosing them too.

Advice to Brides who are currently planning their Weddings?

Enjoy the moments. Especially surrounded by family. It may be the only time you have everyone in one place during all the special moments. Book all vendors early. It avoids stressing befoee the wedding trying to find them last minute. After vendors are booked, it’s mostly a waiting game until you finalize details right before the wedding.

What are three words you would use to describe the style of your wedding day?

Simple, timeless, with a Christmas touch
