Angela and Nicholas’ Cliffhouse engagement was absolutely perfect. Not a drop of rain even though the forecast predicted it. Praise the Lord. It ended up being such a lovely evening.
These two were so cute and I had the best time getting to know them. They’ll be tying the knot at Cliffhouse this summer. Angela showed me some of her wedding inspiration images and I am so excited to see it all come together.

More about the couple
How did you two meet?
We met through mutual friends after college. We both went to UTA and hung out with some of the same people but never met until after college when one of Angela’s girlfriends bugged her enough to go hang out with Nic and his friends. The rest is history!
What was it about your significant other that first attracted you to them?
I loved how social and welcoming Nicolas was. He was very confident and wasn’t a typical “frat dude.” He was respectful and very fun (and also very cute!).
Tell us your engagement story!
Nic’s older sister does photography as a hobby and I wanted her to take nice pictures of us to put up in our apartment. Nic hates taking pictures but obliged, little to my knowledge he was actually planning the whole thing. Up to the day of the pictures, he was still saying we could cancel the photos haha. His sister and her boyfriend were in charge of the ring and handing the ring to Nic without me seeing. Everything went great and when his sister said the magic word, he whispered how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and started reaching for the box. I was so confused but excited. I couldn’t believe it was real! His sister took pictures of the whole thing!
What has you most excited when you think about your wedding day?
Getting to see Nicolas and share our love with everyone special to us!
Do you have any advice for other couples planning their wedding?
Haha that would be like the blind leading the blind! Kidding.. kind of. Start early, even if you think you have a lot of time, it goes by quickly!
How was your overall session experience?
It was SO much fun!! We had a blast.
