Words can’t describe how perfect Logan and Shelby’s wedding day at the Springs was. This Maroon and Sunflower wedding was a beautiful, joyful and happy event complete with sweet treats and a lemonade bar. As two DBA alums, they wanted to make sure to have a day where they could give the glory to God who made not only the wedding but their love possible. They included worship music in their ceremony and made sure to have their loved ones pray over them as they start this new journey.

I loved getting to know these two at their engagement session at Arbor hills. If you haven’t checked out that session, you should do that! It was after that engagement session that I knew I was going to love working with the couple.

Advice From The Bride:

What was your Wedding Planning Experience like How did you feel, how did you handle any stress? Was it easier or more difficult than you first thought?

I really enjoyed my wedding planning experience. It involved a lot more than I thought it would originally, but I enjoyed talking with all the different people and especially enjoyed seeing how the pieces all came together to turn into a beautiful wedding day. As far as dealing with stress, I constantly reminded myself that as long as me and my fiancé were present, it was going to be a good day for our wedding!

Advice to Brides who are currently planning their Weddings

The best advice I could give to any bride currently planning her wedding is to make or obtain a paper wedding planner. This is because you will have many people that you are in contact with, different payments you will need to keep track of, and a plethora of dates that you will need to remember. Having all of this in one place makes your job of planning your wedding more seamless, especially if you do not have a hired wedding coordinator. At the end of the day, what your guests are coming to your wedding for is to see you and your fiancé get married. Although all of the vendors and decorations are important, I encourage you to keep in perspective that the day will be special no matter what.
