I had so much fun at Annika and Kevin’s summer engagement at Arbor Hills nature preserve. These two were down to earth, easy to talk to and went along with all my crazy ideas. Jump in the creek…sure….cuddle in the tall grass…okay….how about a piggy back ride…let’s do it! Seriously, thank you! Y’all made my night!

How did you two meet?
We met on Tinder in 2016!
What was it about your significant other that first attracted you to them?
He took me to Chuy’s for our first date so I knew he was the one! He was always very polite and caring and puts others before himself.
Tell us your engagement story!
I was told we were gonna go to a fish fry with some friends. The whole day he was acting very weird and I figured maybe he was getting sick. We drove about an hour away and pulled up to a lake. We got out and walked a little bit down a path and all of a sudden I saw pictures of us strung up on trees and rose petals everywhere. I then see my best friend hiding in a bush with a camera and it finally hit me that he was definitely about to purpose! It was magical and romantic and definitely a moment I will remember forever.
What has you most excited when you think about your wedding day?
Celebrating with our closest friends and family!
Do you have any advice for other couples planning their wedding?
Take all the help that is offered to you. I never knew how much goes into a wedding and everyone has been so sweet and have offered to help in many ways.
How was your overall session experience?
Absolutely amazing! Kimberly was the sweetest person and helped us feel so comfortable in front of the camera!
Share something interesting about your significant other!
He eats Mexican food at least 3 times a week. It’s honestly impressive more than interesting! (I’m right there with you Kevin!!! LOL….Tex-Mex is life)
