Jacey and Jacob’s Engagement Session | Hotel Crescent Court + Arlington Hall

Jacey and Jacob’s Engagement Session at Hotel Crescent Court was one for the books! I loved getting to know these two lovebirds! Can you believe these two actually met in middle school. #allthehearteyes

They drove in from Lubbock where they both attend Texas tech University. I totally don’t look this cute when I have a long drive! When they pulled up for their Engagement session, they looked like a million bucks. I mean, seriously, look at them.

After spending some time at Crescent Court, we decided to head over to Arlington Hall for the second half of their engagement session. Boy, it did not disappoint!

Not only where they totally cute, madly in love but they were the absolute sweetest! We chit-chatted through the entire session like we were old friends. Don’t you love when that happens?

About the Couple…

How did you two meet?

We both went to middle school together but graduated from different high schools. The summer before we left for college we had a mutual friend that connected us again!

What was it about your significant other that first attracted you to them?

Initially, it was his ability to talk to anyone! This man never meets a stranger. He is sweet, compassionate, and personable!

Tell us your engagement story!

Since Jacob and I both go to Texas Tech, we find things we love about Lubbock slowly. I happened to find a neighborhood in Lubbock that I just adored. Jacob noticed… and when it came time to propose, he told me he had a banquet for work so I needed to be dressed, and drove me to my favorite neighborhood, had a hundred candles set out, and said sweet words to me, and popped the question!

What has you most excited when you think about your wedding day?

We want to do a ‘last dance’ and I am really looking forward to that. We’ve heard from everyone how overwhelming the wedding day can be, so having that day to soak everything up will be awesome.

Do you have any advice for other couples planning their wedding?

Let the planning reflect YALL. Not your mom, your dad, your sister, or your bridesmaids! It’s so hard to want to please everyone. It’s a day for you and your groom.

How was your overall session experience?

It was amazing! We were nervous about posing and not looking natural, but Kimberley helped us feel comfortable and welcome. She was also swift yet thorough, which my fiancé who isn’t a huge picture guy, was thrilled with!

Jacob is a collegiate basketball referee who is also in nursing school! He’s pretty cool. 🙂
