What to wear for your Family Session?

Like most mom’s, I struggle when it comes to my family pictures and what all of us will wear. This is because I know that what we wear can actually affect how are pictures turn out.

Here are some examples from my most recent family mini sessions. I really loved each one of these families outfits and felt like the really mixed well as a whole. 

The Benson Family looked like they walked straight out of my style guide. *insert heavenly music* I loved the elegant dress and the fitted shirt and pants from her husband. Then you just add the little cutie patootie and the whole look trio looked absolutely gorgeous! 

For some family sessions, clients choose to not do the suit and fancy dress thing and that is totally fine! Here is the Huddleston family and I loved their look of dressed up casual. 

Cassy had a print and bold color on her dress, but everyone else was in neutral colors. It really made her stand out in a good way and wan’t too distracting in the group shots.
