Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing the love story of Rebecca and Parker in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Their journey began in front of the iconic Drover Hotel and ended in a charming cactus garden, setting the stage for their upcoming New Year’s Eve wedding at the newest DFW wedding venue, Chateau Joli.
Fort Worth Stockyards Engagement Session
We started in front of the historic Drover Hotel, a place rich in history and character. The Stockyards, with its cobblestone streets and rustic architecture, provided a charming backdrop for their love story. As a wedding photographer, I always appreciate it when couples choose meaningful locations for their engagement sessions, and the Fort Worth Stockyards, with its vintage charm, was a perfect choice for these two. It is actually where Parker proposed to Rebecca! They brought their adorable golden retriever, Bruiser to their session. In true Elle Woods Fashion, Bruiser also had some stellar attire to fit the occasion.
After some delightful shots in front of the Drover Hotel and along the busy streets of the Stockyards, we ventured into a charming cactus garden nearby. This part of the Stockyards was filled with an array of cacti and succulents, creating a unique and intimate atmosphere to end their session.
Looking Ahead: New Year’s Eve at Chateau Joli
Rebecca and Parker’s engagement session was a beautiful prelude to their upcoming wedding day. They are set to tie the knot on New Year’s Eve at the newest DFW wedding venue, Chateau Joli. I can’t wait to be a part of their New Year’s Eve celebration, as they embark on their next chapter as a married couple at Chateau Joli, surrounded by the love of their friends and family.
