Dallas Wedding Photographer | Fall Wedding at The Dallas Arboretum & DEC on Dragon
Kristina and Justin’s Fall Wedding at the Dallas Arboretum and DEC on Dragon was as beautiful and as it was fun. My favorite part of the day was definitely their rooftop reception with a live band that kept the party going all night. And those views of the Dallas skyline….sooooo good.
The day started with Kristina and her bridal party getting ready at their home in Flower Mound early that morning. Justin got ready just down the street at their local community center. They shared their first look at the near by park and did a few portraits with their adorable pup – Teddy.
Kristina wore a beautiful Cathedral veil as she walked down the shrub lined steps to the McCasland Sunken Garden. Kristina and Justin exchanged their emotional vows in front of their closest friends and family in this intimate garden ceremony. It was such a sweet moment.
I first met Kristina and Justin at their Bella Cavalli engagement session and from that moment on, I could not have been more excited to photograph such a beautiful day and celebrate such a sweet couple. Enjoy some of my favorite images from this gorgeous Fall wedding at the Dallas Arboretum and DEC on dragon.
From the Couple
What was your Wedding Planning Experience like How did you feel, how did you handle any stress? Was it easier or more difficult than you first thought?
Wedding planning was fun and overwhelming at first dreaming up different styles and then trying to narrow in on one vision. Neither one of us had given much thought to wedding planning growing up, so we were starting from ground zero. Pinterest helped a lot! Then came the difficult part of finding vendors that would execute the vision we’d created. I spent countless hours filtering through vendors before we made our selections, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the team! I assumed wedding planning would be difficult, with all the moving pieces and follow-up decisions, but living through the whirlwind is just something I don’t think I could have prepared for. Even though it becomes busier closer to the wedding, it gets more exciting because the day is drawing nearer!
Advice to Brides who are currently planning their Weddings?
Include your Groom! Justin has been there with me making all of the decisions, so the wedding reflects both of us. Also, formulate your vision early, which helps making choices later down the line.
What are three words you would use to describe the style of your wedding day?
Elegant, ethereal, and garden
Where did you gather inspiration from for your wedding day?
Amazing Vendor Team
