Kayla and Austin’s classic wedding at Oak + Ivy was absolutely perfect! I could go on and on about all the gorgeous details and sweet moments of their day! Being a wedding photographer is seriously have the best job ever! I love being able to celebrate with couples on the happiest days of their lives and witnessing the joy they have as two become one. Documenting love stories will never get old.

One of my favorite moments from Kayla and Austin’s wedding day is hand’s down the tortilla toss at the end of the night. I’ve done a TON of weddings and this was definitely a first for me. Apparently, it is a Texas Tech tradition to throw tortillas and sing the fight song! It was hilarious! I may have included several of those images in the blog because it just brought me so much joy looking at them.

I knew these two were going to be so much fun to work with after I met them at their engagement session. They were so easy going and up for anything. I am so honored that I got to help celebrate you two!!!

Advice From the Bride:

What was your Wedding Planning Experience like How did you feel, how did you handle any stress? Was it easier or more difficult than you first thought?

I would say it was pretty easy thanks to my mom! I would not have be able to do this with out her. Also the Knot checklist was a life saver. It definitely was a challenge and these smaller details are the worst but I am just so ready to see it all come together
