Getting Ready

The day started with a bit of downpour—and you know what they say about rain on your wedding day? It’s good luck! As I arrived at Mira Vista Country Club, the rain created this dreamy, soft light that made everything feel so romantic. Meredith was getting ready with her bridesmaids, glowing with excitement and surrounded by so much love. Her dress was a vision of timeless elegance, and when she slipped it on, I was left speechless. I kept telling her all day how much I loved the sleeves.

The Ceremony

Broadway Baptist Church was the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt ceremony. The architecture and stunning stained glass made every moment feel sacred and meaningful. What was extra special is that Meredith’s youth pastor, Fran, married the two.

The Reception

After the ceremony, we made our way to Mira Vista Country Club for the reception, and oh my, the transformation of the weather was incredible. The sun shining over the lush greens of the club felt like a fairytale. How was this a December wedding? Guests mingled, laughed, and sipped on cocktails while soaking in the stunning views. But let’s talk about the reception—it was a celebration like no other!

Meredith shared the sweetest father-daughter dance with her dad. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as they swayed to a song that perfectly captured their bond. Brady’s mother-son dance was equally touching—so much love and pride in every step. And when it was time for the cake cutting, Meredith and Brady’s laughter lit up the entire room. One of my favorite moments of the night was sneaking Meredith and Brady outside for some golden hour portraits. The sun setting over the country club created the dreamiest backdrop, and their love was evident in every photo.
