Winter Wedding at St. Ann’s Catholic Church | Dallas Wedding Photography | Dallas Wedding Videography
January weddings in Texas are known to be a little unpredictable as far as weather. Luckily, It was a perfect day for Lindsay and Ray’s winter wedding at St.Ann’s Catholic Church! Lindsay started out by getting ready at her parents house – surrounded by her family and friends. They listened to music, ate and had the best time just being together.
Lindsay and Ray had a beautiful ceremony at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. I loved how they incorporated just a hint of Christmas in their decor. Ray looked dashing as ever in his Dark Green Velvet blazer which paired nicely with the Bridesmaids green velvet dresses.
Afterwards, They celebrated with family and friends at Vouv Dallas. They had the coolest Groom’s cake I think I have ever seen! It was a football stadium that lit up and had cupcakes as “people” lining the stands. On top of that, they had Royal Dukes Band (which are one of my favorite bands in the DFW area) and they definitely know how to keep the dance floor moving. It was such a fun night of dancing, dinner and celebration!
Lindsay and Ray, I am so happy for this new season your embarking on. Congratulations! I couldn’t be more excited for you two! Enjoy some of my favorites from your winter wedding at St. Ann’s Catholic Church!
Oh and In case you missed their absolutely beautiful engagement session…here it is as well!

From The Bride
What was your Wedding Planning Experience like How did you feel, how did you handle any stress? Was it easier or more difficult than you first thought?
Planning is ongoing. It really helped to make written checklists and to do lists, that way Ray and I could physically mark them off and give us a sense of accomplishment. Right now we have plenty of legal pads filled with to do lists that have been marked through and a few more that need to be done. I took lots of bubble baths and silly me decided to train for a half marathon during wedding planning so running became my stress relief. Wedding planning isn’t hard in itself, but managing expectations and opinions is. Everything will work out how its supposed to as long as the bride and groom can remember they are a team and always make the main thing, the main thing. The main thing is we are getting married!
