Gillian and Sean’s love story reached new heights as they embarked on a winter wedding at Della Terra Mountain Chateau. Despite unexpected weather challenges, the celebration turned into a magical affair filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. I know for me personally, this wedding was one of the highlights of my career. Gillian was one of the first students I ever taught when I started teaching at Shadow Ridge Middle School. In fact, Gillian and her friends would come into my room at lunch and hang out. It was honestly one of my favorite parts of the day. Even then, Gillian was sweet as can be and so kind to others. I’m really grateful that she stayed in touch and I’ve seen her grow into the beautiful woman she is today.

The scenic beauty of Della Terra Mountain Chateau set the perfect stage for Gillian and Sean’s nuptials. Originally planning an outdoor ceremony, a winter storm altered their plans, prompting a shift to an indoor setting. Undeterred, the couple embraced the romantic ambiance created by an abundance of candles and flowers, turning the ceremony space into a warm and intimate haven.

The bride and groom shared a breathtaking first look against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Despite the chilly weather, the love between Gillian and Sean warmed the hearts of everyone present (even though our bodies may have been frozen solid. Just kidding. Sort of. See picture below 🙂 ) The snow-laden landscape provided a picturesque setting, capturing the essence of their winter wonderland love story. Gillian honestly looked like a real life Elsa and the snow helped enhance the fairytale.

The reception at Della Terra Mountain Chateau was nothing short of a celebration to remember. Gillian, the bride, added a personal touch by crafting her own wedding cakes from her company, “Sweet Gilly’s Vegan.” The delectable vegan treats were a hit, showcasing Gillian’s talent and dedication to her craft. She is opening a store front this Spring in Frisco, TX so you should definitely check it out if you’re in the area.

The dance floor came alive with energy as family and friends joined the newlyweds in celebration. The joyous atmosphere, coupled with the stunning views of the mountains through the venue’s large windows, created an unforgettable experience for all. From classic dances to lively tunes, the dance floor remained vibrant throughout the night.
