Stephanie & Greg Grapevine Botanical Gardens Engagement

I enjoyed meeting up with Stephanie and Greg for their Grapevine Botanical Gardens engagement session . It was the perfect location for these two Aggies!

Greg and Stephanie met in the Fall of 2008 at Texas A&M. They dated for a bit, but then went their separate ways. They always kept in touch throughout the years and decided to reconnect this past summer. Greg came to visit in September and that was it. They knew that they were meant to be.

Greg and Stephanie had gone to look at rings in Austin one weekend when she was visiting. They had picked one out and the ring shop was going to let them know when it would be ready. Over Spring Break, they went on a trip to Fredericksburg. (ahhh….beautiful) Greg got a call from the jeweler and out loud said that the ring wouldn’t be ready until the end of April. Little did Stephanie know, the jeweler was laughing on the other end because she had said it would be ready in about a week. During the last week of March, Greg’s parents were coming to visit and to meet her parents. Family is extremely important to both of them. That Friday night, they all went out to dinner and then got together on Saturday morning for breakfast. Greg had said that he would love to have both of our parents at the house for lunch on Sunday and that they could spend some more time together. After mass, they went and picked up BBQ and went back to the house. Stephanie’s parents came over and while we were all busy getting lunch ready, Greg ran upstairs without anyone noticing. When he came back downstairs, he asked Stephanie to come stand by him in front of his parents. She had no clue what he was doing. He started to thank their parents for everything and before she knew it, he was down on one knee. The first thing she said to him was, “You lied to me!”  then commented on the fact that his hands were really shaking and he replied, “Yeah, you called me a liar and still haven’t said yes.” Of course, She said yes and laughed along with their parents who were busy taking pictures. Needless to say, she was in shock the rest of the day.

Stephanie and Greg are getting married this November in Flower Mound! I can’t wait to see these two lovebirds tie the knot. To say that I am excited for their wedding day this fall is an understatement! They are so affectionate and sweet towards one another, this is obviously a match made in Heaven!

These spring engagement photos are giving me all the feels! Stephanie and Greg rocked their engagement session last week! The spring blooms and the weather were so perfect and we couldn’t have asked for such a better day!

Of course, they had to represent their Aggie pride (I mean, they did meet there after all) and include their fur kids in the pictures. I loved getting to meet Willie and Waylon and they enjoyed exploring the Grapevine Botanical Gardens!
