Romantic Vineyard Engagement Session | Madison and Grant

Is there such a thing as smiling and laughing too much? I think not, but I will say my cheeks hurt from all the laughs these two caused. Madison & Grant are seriously the funniest and most adorable couple. I met up with them at Mitas Hill Vineyards in McKinney for a romantic vineyard engagement session. Since they live out of town, this was actually our first time meeting in person but it felt like we have known each other forever.

I absolutely loved every minute of their session. I can’t wait for their wedding in March at Heritage Hall in Paris, Texas!

How they Met

Madison and Grant met at Outback Steakhouse! She had just come back from vacation and Grant was a new employee there. Madison was looking over something to eat that night after her shift and Grant had asked her if I wanted split a 22 oz Bone-In Ribeye with him. That was the first meal they ever shared a conversation over!

Their Proposal Story

Christmas time is one of Madison’s favorite times of year! After planning an entire trip to meet her huge family in Corpus Christi for Thanksgiving, they left to stop in San Antonio for the city’s Christmas parade the next day. They went down to the River Walk to watch the parade on floats, however, they left a bit early and walked around the city, finally finding a place to stop and eat. On their way back to the hotel they stopped in the middle of the square to view the tree lighting. Madison had kindly offered to take a families picture in front of the tree and then the wife offered to take their picture. After a few snaps, Grant had asked the lady to take one more. That’s when Grant got down on one knee and asked! The lady ended up recording the whole thing. Best day ever!!
