Margaret and Chris’ Lovely Wedding at The French Farmhouse was so much fun and down right beautiful. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect day for two wonderful people. I first met this duo at their Downtown engagement session. They were so easy to talk to – it felt like old friends rather than a first meeting.

Margaret and Chris put so much thought into entertaining their guests and keeping the party moving. I can confidently say this was a really fun event! They had their guests meet them at the Choctaw Casino and bus over to the wedding. Then, everyone received a lotto scratch off ticket, drinks, voicemail guest book and more. It was definitely a blast! Then everyone hopped back on the Party bus to the after party at Choctaw Casino.

What was your Wedding Planning Experience like How did you feel, how did you handle any stress? Was it easier or more difficult than you first thought?

I really enjoyed wedding planning and getting to meet so many amazing vendors and great people who work in the wedding industry. It can get really stressful and overwhelming, to help with that I started planning early and focused on one thing a month, this allowed me plenty of time finding the perfect vendors that were right for us. I felt a lot less overwhelmed when I only had to focus on one thing at a time rather than everything all at once. Planning a wedding was about as difficult as I thought it would be. I found the hardest part to be trying to keep track of what I needed to buy and rent, I was terrified I was going to forget forks for everyone and it would ruin the entire wedding.

Advice to Brides who are currently planning their Weddings

Start early and really take the time to interview several wedding vendors for each category so you feel like you getting the best fit for you. Google is your best friend and don’t be afraid to ask your friends who have been married for advice on what they loved and what they regret not doing or spending money on. And remember no one else will notice every little detail like you do so don’t stress over it all too much.
