I cannot wait to share Lindsey and Chris’ Dallas Engagement Session on the blog today! You know when you meet someone and you feel like you’re old friends? That’s how I felt with Lindsey and Chris! I had soooooo much fun getting to know them and exploring Dallas! They were down for anything I threw at them!
Lindsey and Chris are getting married at The Laurel in 2023 and I can’t believe it’s going to be over a year before I get to hang out with these two again. Unless I run into them since we basically neighbors! LOL
In all seriousness, I am really excited for these two. Thanks for letting me be apart of this journey! I really am so excited to celebrate with you when the time comes!

More about the Couple
How did you two meet?
Chris and I met while working for the Corpus Christi Hooks. He was working full time and I was attending Texas A&M- Corpus Christi and needed to complete an internship for my degree.
What was it about your significant other that first attracted you to them?
Chris was the tall, dark and handsome guy that everyone was friends with and when I met him I instantly knew why. He’s hands down one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. Chris was immediately attracted to my sense of humor. He loves the fact that I can find humor in most all situations.
Tell us your engagement story!
Backstory- Chris and I did long distance for 3 years and I had always wanted a dog so I went ahead and got one. I had always made the joke that Maggie, our lab, was MY dog. So New Year’s Eve 2020 we were both at home and Maggie ran out of our room and I noticed something hanging from her collar. When I looked back he was down on one knee and asked if he could be her official dad and of course I said yes!
What has you most excited when you think about your wedding day?
For us, we don’t get to have all of our friends and family together hardly ever so getting to have all of the important people in of lives together at the same place and same time is what we look forward to the most.
Do you have any advice for other couples planning their wedding?
Give yourself enough time so it can be enjoyable. We haven’t felt rushed or pressured at all and have felt like we’ve had time to look and explore all of our options and find the people that we feel are our best fits.
How was your overall session experience?
We loved it. We are not familiar with being photographed but you made it so easy and we were so comfortable the light the whole process. Thank you so much!

One interesting thing about Chris is that he is Greek and can traditional Greek dance.
