When Lucy and Ted told me that they wanted their engagement session at the Kimbell Art Museum, I may have gotten a little too excited! I’ve been wanting to do a session here for the longest time and Lucy and Ted would be the PERECT couple for this location!
When I met these two at Starbucks for their consultation, I knew they were the PERFECT Kimberly Harrell Couple. Both of them agreed that Kindness towards others was what they loved most about their partner.
They will be getting married next year at Texas Discovery Gardens in Dallas, Texas. It will be the first time shooting a wedding there and I am so excited! I know it is going to be absolutely gorgeous!

About the Couple
How did you two meet?
We met through mutual friends at a Fourth of July party. You could say there were fireworks at first sight!
What was it about your significant other that first attracted you to them?
I really liked how much care Ted showed to other people. I liked how Lucy was very thoughtful towards her friends and others.
Tell us your engagement story!
We were on vacation last fall in Europe, and on Ted’s birthday we went to the Neuschwanstein castle in Germany. We hiked to a scenic view, and Ted got down on one knee to pop the question!
What has you most excited when you think about your wedding day?
We’re so excited to celebrate the start of our lives together with so many people who are special to us!
Do you have any advice for other couples planning their wedding?
Create a shared wedding email account, and define a few tasks to accomplish every week or month.
How was your overall session experience?
We had a wonderful experience! We appreciated Kimberly’s encouragement to try new poses and get a variety of shots.

Ted is a pop culture junkie and is always wanting to go see new music or comedy acts. Lucy is a great travel buddy and makes a mean beer bread.
