Flower Mound Engagement Session | Dallas Wedding Photographer
Love stories often begin in the most unexpected places, and for Ryan and Shelby, it all started with a swipe right on Hinge, a dating app known for fostering meaningful connections. In July of 2022, Their conversations started off light, with shared interests and a witty sense of humor quickly bringing them closer together. They talked for weeks, sharing their dreams, experiences, and stories from their lives.
After building a strong connection, the time came for their first date. In August, they decided to meet at Andy’s Frozen Custard, a place known for its delectable treats and a perfect setting for a memorable first encounter. It was a hot summer day, and the cool, creamy custard provided the perfect backdrop for their budding romance. That first date was filled with laughter, shared stories, and the spark of something special.
As the months passed, Ryan and Shelby’s relationship blossomed. They celebrated milestones, supported each other through challenges, and forged a connection that grew stronger with each passing day. They embarked on adventures, both big and small, nurturing their love and creating lasting memories.
A year after their first date, on their one-year anniversary, Ryan had a surprise in store for Shelby. With their love story well underway, he chose to propose at Turtle Creek Park, a serene and romantic setting known for its lush greenery and tranquil waters. As the sun began to set, casting a warm, golden hue across the park, Ryan got down on one knee and asked Shelby to be his forever.
Of course Shelby said “yes” and now they are embarking on a new chapter as fiancés. With their engagement official, Ryan and Shelby decided to have their engagement session at Murrell Park, a hidden gem known for its stunning views of Grapevine Lake.
Their love story is an inspiration, reminding us that sometimes, the most beautiful moments arise from the simplest beginnings. Ryan and Shelby’s journey is a testament to the power of connection and the magic of love found in the digital age.
As they move forward together, we can’t wait to see what new adventures, experiences, and shared memories they will create. I am so excited for their wedding at The Laurel next Spring. I’ve already had the pleasure to meet Shelby’s family and I cannot wait to meet Ryan’s as well. I know it is going to be such a wonderful day filled with laughs and a lot of love.
Please enjoy some of my favorites from their Flower Mound engagement session at Murrell Park.
