Downtown Engagement session | Dallas wedding photographer
I’m excited to share Landry and Jonathan’s Downtown engagement session with you. They will be getting married next Spring at Montclair Venue and I just know it is going to be beautiful.
I enjoyed getting to know them. It’s obvious how much these two love and adore each other. They are super kind and easy to talk to. It really was the highlight of my day.
How did you two meet?
We met in Lubbock, Tx while we were attending Texas Tech University. Wreck em!
What was it about your significant other that first attracted you to them?
The thing that initially attracted me to Jonathan was his green eyes and his outgoing personality! Jonathan is the life of the party and his smile is contagious. Not only is Jonathan outgoing, he is kindhearted, considerate and loving.
Tell us your engagement story!
Jonathan proposed on our Valentines date at Restoration Hardware in Dallas! We had a perfect table right in front of the beautiful water fountain. Once we finished our meal, Jonathan let me open my valentines day present. I first opened up a box that had a bracelet inside, the bracelet had what will be my new initials ” LP.” Once I realized what may be happening, Jonathan grabbed the ring box at the very bottom of the present and got down on one knee. Several tears later, the waitress brought over champagne and our parents surprised us! It was perfect!
What has you most excited when you think about your wedding day?
I am most looking forward to celebrating our commitment to each other with all of our friends and family! I can’t wait to start doing life together as husband and wife.
Do you have any advice for other couples planning their wedding?
Don’t stress about the little things. I tried to knock out majority of the planning process right away, so that we can spend the remainder of the time leading up to our wedding enjoying being fiancés!
How was your overall session experience?
Our session with Kimberly was amazing! She is so professional, and knows exactly what she is doing. Jonathan and I have never taken professional photos together and she made the process a breeze and so much fun!
