For Julie and Eric, their love story unfolded in the digital age, sparked by a DM on a dating app. Little did they know that this seemingly ordinary connection would lead to extraordinary moments and a lifetime of happiness together.
Eric reached out to Julie on Hinge in the spring of 2022, igniting a conversation that would change both of their lives forever. Despite their busy schedules, they found time to meet for brunch, albeit with a humorous miscommunication about attire. However, laughter paved the way for deeper connection that has led them to this point.
The Engagement Session
Fast forward to a picturesque day during the Dallas Blooms festival at the Dallas Arboretum, where Julie and Eric’s engagement session unfolded amidst a breathtaking backdrop of cherry blossoms and tulips. From the Arboretum, their journey continued to the White Rock Lake Marina, where the serene waters provided a perfect setting for intimate moments and candid smiles. I had such a blast getting to know these two! They are the sweetest people and I cannot wait to celebrate them this Fall when they get married at Marie Gabrielle.
The Proposal
Eric meticulously planned a proposal at the Hotel Crescent Court courtyard. He invited their families to watch from afar. For them, this was a culmination of their love story—a moment of pure joy and celebration. As they eagerly anticipate their wedding day, Julie and Eric are filled with excitement at the thought of their loved ones coming together to celebrate their union.

INCREDIBLE!!!! Thank you, Kimberly, for bringing the sweetest, kindest and most joyous energy to the session. Not only is your work stunning, but your dedication to creating the most beautiful photos is so evident in the way you work. Thank you for helping master the vision, getting multiple sites snuck in and wardrobe changes. We are so thrilled with our decision to have someone as wonderful as Kimberly to capture our day. We said it during the session – the person we will spend the majority of the wedding day with (other than each other) is the photographer so we are so blessed we found someone so talented and easy to work with! The whole evening felt so comfortable, thank you for making a space that had us feeling right at home! (Thanks so much!!! This made me tear up a little đŸ™‚ )
About the couple
Beyond their love for each other, Julie and Eric share a deep affection for their fur babies—Tressel, the small beagle, and Jaxon, the giant golden retriever. Both transplants to Texas, they’ve found home in each other.
As they look forward to the next chapter of their journey together, Julie and Eric are grateful for the unexpected twists and turns that brought them together and excited for the adventures that lie ahead.
