Adriatica Village Engagement Session | Dallas Wedding Photographer

Saying Brittany and Chris’ Adriatica Village Engagement session was fun is a serious understatement. Brittany and Chris are so much fun to be around and I really enjoyed getting to know them. And big shoutout to my girl, Shelby Rowan for doing an outstanding job on Brittany’s hair and makeup for her engagement session.

I don’t shoot at Adriatica very often but Brittany and Chris’ session is making me want to come here a little more often. It’s not everyday you find a little bit of old-world Europe in DFW!

Here are some of my favorites from Brittany and Chris’ Adriatica Village Engagement Session! Enjoy!

More About The Couple

How did you two meet?

Our parents knew eachother in the refugee camp after escaping Romania, then our fathers went to seminary together. After 20 plus years of lost connection our moms reconnected and his family was driving back to Texas and they were going to stop in nashville for the weekend. It was almost basically a set up for us to meet. I was so against the idea I made plans specifically that night to arrival late. After moments walking into the door Chris makes fun of a shirt I was wearing and I thought “this is going to be a long weekend”. Ironically enough the more time we spent together we both know there was something more. We have been together ever since.

What was it about your significant other that first attracted you to them?

Brittany: I loved that he makes me laugh, his kindness, and love for the Lord.

Chris: Her beauty and love for the Lord.

Tell us your engagement story!

New York holds a special place in our hearts, especially Central Park. It was the first trip we took together. Two years later walking in Central Park and Chris spontaneously rents a row boat. We start making our way to bow bridge with the idyllic New York background and just enough drizzle to give it big Notebook vibes. He got on one knee in the boat, and it was so sweet having all these strangers around us celebrate our moment. It was all planned out so well that he even hired a secret photographer and photoshoot after.

What has you most excited when you think about your wedding day?

Brittany: I am so excited to publicly make our commitment known and celebrated.

Chris: excited to celebrate in front of family, friends, and God.

Do you have any advice for other couples planning their wedding?

Brittany: Enjoying the planning with your fiancé! It’s YALL’S wedding!!

Chris: Communication!

How was your overall session experience?

Kimberly is amazing!! She made us feel so comfortable and excited about the moments captured.

Share something interesting about your significant other!

Brittany: that Chris hums while he eats and it’s so cute cause he doesn’t notice 😉

Chris: She treats everyone with respect and kindness when they don’t deserve it.

  1. […] I first met them at their engagement session at Adriatica Village. Still one of my favorite sessions ever. If you haven’t checked those out, you can here. […]
