Ellie and Will’s wedding at the Adolphus hotel was one for the books! They started the day getting ready at the Adolphus Hotel, and I couldn’t help but swoon over Ellie’s adorable pajamas. Her bridal style was absolute perfection—she looked stunning in a classic gown with delicate floral designs that felt like a dream. I’ve known Ellie since she was in seventh grade, so watching her meet her person and celebrate this milestone made my heart swell.
One of the most emotional moments of the day was at Christ the King Church, where Ellie and Will shared a first touch before the ceremony. I was tearing up behind the lens—there’s just something so powerful about those quiet, intimate moments.
The ceremony was beautiful, with Will and many of the groomsmen wearing their military uniforms, adding an extra layer of significance to the day. The couple did an exit out of the chapel doors and into a classic car. It was truly a Disney worthy moment.
Afterward, we headed back to the Adolphus for a reception that was equal parts elegant and fun! The dance floor was packed all night, and LeForce DJ kept the energy high with glow sticks flying and music that had everyone dancing. The energy of this group was amazing. I had so much fun! Especially when some of my favorite musical theatre songs played…I’m not sure I’ve ever sang so loud!
One of my favorite parts of the night was when Ellie, instead of tossing her bouquet, surprised her mom by presenting it to her. It was such a sweet and meaningful gesture, honoring all the love and support her mom gave throughout the wedding planning process.
Other highlights from the reception was live painting by Hannah Aaron Studios and their Whataburger late night snacks. I’m just going to say it, Whataburger is the best I don’t care what anyone else says. I am definitely team Taquitos, though!
The night ended with a private last dance for just the two of them, and an epic exit with guests waving American flags chanting USA! It was the perfect send off for this incredible couple!
