Maria and Brad didn’t just plan a wedding day — they created an entire Texas experience for their favorite people. With every guest traveling in from out of town, these two leaned all the way into Southern hospitality and western charm for a destination wedding weekend their guests will never forget. From cowboy boots to line dancing, their celebration was the perfect mix of elegant romance and unforgettable fun.
Their Texas Destination Wedding weekend kicked off with the ultimate Texas-style welcome party. Guests traded their everyday attire for western wear, complete with boots, hats, fringe, and denim, and embraced the spirit of the Lone Star State from the moment they arrived. The evening was full of laughter as everyone learned line dances together and even discovered their official cowboy names. Guests also enjoyed authentic Texas BBQ and other favorites such as jalapeno mac and cheese. It was the perfect icebreaker for a weekend centered around celebration, connection, and making memories together.
When the wedding day arrived, Maria and Brad exchanged vows at the stunning Bella Donna Chapel. The chapel’s timeless beauty created the most romantic setting for their ceremony, blending classic elegance with the warmth and intimacy that defined the entire weekend. Surrounded by all of the people who had traveled to celebrate them, Maria and Brad shared a ceremony that felt deeply personal and incredibly joyful.
After the ceremony, guests headed to The Grand Hotel for a reception that perfectly captured the energy of the couple. Cocktail hour featured live music from Jeremiah Brinkley, setting the tone for an evening full of celebration. Guests mingled, laughed, and soaked in the atmosphere while enjoying the sounds of live Texas music.
As the night continued, the dance floor quickly became the place to be. One of the absolute highlights was an elaborate skit performed by their closest friends and family, celebrating the couple’s 14 years together with plenty of laughs and nostalgia. Between the incredible music, the excitement of having everyone together in one place, and the contagious joy Maria and Brad brought into every moment, the reception turned into an unforgettable party.
Maria and Brad’s wedding was proof that destination weddings don’t have to happen oceans away to feel like an experience. By bringing all of their loved ones together in Texas and fully embracing the culture, they created a wedding weekend that was meaningful, immersive, and endlessly fun. Every detail reflected who they are as a couple — warm, adventurous, welcoming, and ready to celebrate life to the fullest. Enjoy some of my favorite images from their Texas destination wedding.
