Rafa and Weston’s Engagement at The Dallas Arboretum

Rafa and Weston’s engagement is everything I had hoped for and more! With rain in the forecast and unsure if we should reschedule we lucked out with a perfect overcast day with not a drop of rain. As a result of the cloud cover, I could shoot from angles that I don’t always get to shoot from because of harsh sun light. I think I was in a Photographer’s dream land! “Hey, Let’s try this” or ” Ohhh, this is pretty, Let’s have you guys here” “AHHH….check this out!”

Throughout their session, I found out that Rafa and Weston just became engaged and hadn’t told any of their friends or family! They had me take their phone and snap a quick picture of them showing their ring so that they could tell their loved ones later that evening! What a fun way to break the news!

Congratulations to you both on your engagement! Y’all were so much fun to hang out with. Weston, thank you for being a trooper in your jacket. I know it was humid. Thank you for letting me be a part of this special moment in your life.
