Paige & Cody’s Sunset Engagement Session at Murrell Park

Engagement Session

November 29, 2025

Paige and Cody’s engagement session at Murrell Park was one of those evenings that just felt soft, effortless, and full of meaning. The golden light, the peaceful lake breeze, and the two of them laughing their way through every pose—what a dream. These two will be tying the knot this May at The Chapel of Palacios, and after spending the evening with them, I already know their wedding day is going to be full of heart.

A College Connection That Turned Into Forever

Paige and Cody’s story began in college—long before either of them could have imagined where life would take them. They lived in the same dorm, were in the same freshman math class, and their sorority and fraternity circles overlapped often. Paige admits she technically asked for Cody’s number for math help… even though she didn’t really need it.

And honestly? Who could miss Cody?! A 6’8” guy sitting in the front row of class tends to stand out! Paige noticed him immediately—and Cody was drawn to her calm, beautiful presence just as quickly.

A New Year’s Eve to Remember

Their engagement story is straight out of a movie.

Paige’s college roommate planned an intimate New Year’s Eve gathering. “Dress to the nines,” she said. Paige didn’t think twice—especially when her hometown friends asked about her plans and decided to join. She had no idea any of this was part of something bigger.

As the countdown began, everyone gathered in the living room. Paige, dressed in white (ironically… and adorably), turned around at midnight to find Cody down on one knee. Cameras were raised. Her closest people were grinning. The entire thing had been planned to perfection.

And of course, she said yes.

Sunset Moments at Murrell Park

During their engagement session, Paige and Cody slipped so naturally into being themselves. They were affectionate, playful, relaxed—and trusted me fully. Paige told me afterward that they felt comfortable, carefree, and grateful for the posing guidance. “We feel so confident going into the wedding day now,” she said. Music to my photographer heart. <3

Murrell Park gave us everything: soft light, windy shoreline moments, and those quiet little interactions that truly show who they are.

Looking Ahead to Their Wedding Day

When asked what they’re most excited about, Paige and Cody shared something so genuine:
“All of the most important people in our lives being in one place to celebrate us and our marriage.”

That’s what it’s all about.

They also passed along advice for other couples planning their day:
“Just remind yourselves that at the end of the day, your wedding is to celebrate you and your marriage and your love.”

Truth. Pure truth.
