Memories are important and even as a photographer, sometimes getting pictures of me or my kids can be quite difficult. So, I decided to enlist the help of my friend Jamie Lynn from Poppy and Belle Photography to help me capture some family pictures.
I went to try on some of her client wardrobe and we ended up doing an impromptu mommy and me session with my littlest love. WOWZER! I really can’t wait for our family session this Spring!
I think only Jamie Lynn could take pictures of me with no makeup and me still be completely in love. She is a truly talented family and newborn photographer. If you haven’t checked out her work…here is her website.
I can’t wait for Jamie Lynn to capture my family this spring…if this coronavirus can ever move on and leave us alone. Please enjoy these images from Poppy and Belle Photography of me and my sweet baby girl at Pink pineapple Studios.
About the Mommy and Me session:
What was your favorite part of the session experience?
That is hard to answer because I honestly loved every moment of the session. From choosing the perfect outfits, playing with Anna, Jamie Lynn’s great personality or the fact that I didn’t have to be mom and photographer….it made it so much less stressful.
Would you recommend Poppy and Belle Photography to anyone?
YES! A million times yes. Jamie is a sweetheart and beyond talented. I actually do refer some of my clients to her — especially newborns!
What is your advice to mama’s planning a photo session?
Go all out on hair and makeup…you’ll be glad you did!!! I didn’t have time for this session but normally for photos…in order to feel super confident I do hair and makeup….bring on those falsies! LOL I also suggest using your photographer’s wardrobe closet if they have one or following their style guides.
Thank you so much for this wonderful Mommy and Me session, Jamie Lynn! I love these photos so much and will treasure them forever!
