Ohhh my goodness, friends—this session was such a heart-melter. I had the absolute joy of spending the afternoon with Laura and Adam for their engagement photos, and let me just tell you: these two are the real deal. We kicked things off at none other than Park Cities Presbyterian Church—the very place where they’ll be saying “I do” this fall! I’m already counting down the days because if their wedding day is anything like this session, it’s going to be magical.
The church made such a meaningful and elegant backdrop, and even though the skies were overcast, the soft light was so dreamy (every photographer’s secret happy dance moment!). Laura and Adam were all giggles and sweet glances, and I could already tell how deeply these two love and respect each other. You know those couples that just fit? That’s them.
After we soaked up all the beautiful architecture and sweet moments at the church, we headed over to Lakeside Park and this is where things got extra adorable. Because that’s when I got to meet their precious pup, Birdie! 🐾 Oh my word. Birdie totally stole the show in the best way possible. She brought ALL the charm, and I may or may not have squealed with excitement more than once. Dogs in engagement photos? Yes. Always yes.
Watching Laura and Adam interact with Birdie was just another glimpse into the warmth and kindness they share—not only with each other, but with everyone (and every pup!) around them.
These two are so full of grace and joy, and I truly cannot wait to capture their wedding day at Park Cities Presbyterian and The Melrose Warwick Hotel this fall. If this session is any indication, it’s going to be a day full of love, laughter, and some very happy tears.
