Ashlee and Matt’s Fall Wedding at Davis and Grey farms was everything I could have imagined and more. I had never photographed a wedding here and let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint. This venue is stunning!

Ashlee was a dream in her Morilee gown. Plus, Matt’s face when he first laid eyes on his bride to be was absolutely the sweetest. These two are a match made in Heaven. I first met Ashlee and Matt at their engagement session at Murrell park and immediately felt like we were old friends.

My favorite moment of the day was spending time with this sweet couple and their families. From getting ready, Matt and Ashlee’s emotional first touch and letter reading to hanging out with Ashlee’s Dad learning about Astrophotography. It was such a joy to be here and celebrate these two!

Congratulations, Ashlee and Matt! I am so happy for you two! I’m a little sad the wedding is over but I can’t wait to see what life has in store for you both! Enjoy some of my favorites from their Fall wedding at Davis and Grey Farms.

What was your Wedding Planning Experience like How did you feel, how did you handle any stress? Was it easier or more difficult than you first thought?

We had a fairly long engagement, so once we booked all of our vendors, it was pretty smooth sailing! For me, all of the big decisions were easy, it was the little details and things you don’t even think about that were the hardest. Luckily, we have families who were supportive of our vision and helped us create the best day! Wedding planning can be A LOT to handle, but it is so worth it!

Advice to Brides who are currently planning their Weddings

Plan early!! I worked to get all of my vendors set as early as possible because not only were they booking up quickly, but it saved me stress later on. Also DIY what you can, if you are able to! I love doing crafty things, so it was sentimental to have special decor pieces that I made or my family helped me with. Remember the day is ultimately about you and your spouse, so no matter the hiccups you face, it is all going to be okay in the end because you get to spend the rest of your life with the person you love!
