Sandra and Tad’s engagement at The Dallas Arboretum was absolutely gorgeous! Their spring blooms were out in full force and we all could not have been more excited!
Sandra and Tad will be getting married this April at Clark Gardens in Weatherford. I am so excited because it will be my first wedding at this venue and I think it is going to be pretty. I might also be excited because it will include an easter egg hunt for the kiddos and let’s be real….who wouldn’t be excited for that!
About the Couple
How did you two meet?
Through an app called Happn that you physically have to cross with the person to pop up. We downloaded it the same Friday night and crossed Saturday morning when we started talking
What was it about your significant other that first attracted you to them?
Tad was always super kind, gentleman and he immediately made me smile. Sandra seemed incredibly genuine and intelligent, and her blue dress
Tell us your engagement story!
We had been working for a year building trails at my in-laws ranch and one day before my birthday we were there he asked me to help him move a tree. We went out there, walks for a bit, he hugged me and gave me a card where he had written beautiful things in Spanish… when I finished reading he kneeled and popped the question with his grandmother’s wedding ring. I said yes and ended kneeling too. When we walked back to the car a firework popped completely unplanned from the neighbors that we thought it was such a great thing
What has you most excited when you think about your wedding day?
Walking down the aisle and our first dance

Think about what makes both of you happy and don’t worry about anyone else

Engagement photos were great! Kimberly was so sweet and clear about her advice on how to pose to get the best photos!

Tad loves to drum in the middle of the night and loves Star Wars…he will always be a kid! He is just such a good man.
Sandra has an incredible kind heart and puts others first above her needs and has traveled to more than 20 countries.
