You know those sessions that just make your cheeks hurt from smiling? That was exactly what happened during Elise and Ben’s engagement session at Arlington Hall! 🥰 Even though Dallas was doing its usual summer thing—hot, humid, and sticky—these two were absolute troopers. I mean it… not a single complaint, just nonstop laughter, sweet moments, and lots of fanning between shots. 😂
Elise, being the creative gem that she is, planned the cutest little picnic for part of the session. And not just any picnic—this one had special meaning. These two met when they were the only ones who showed up to a church pickleball meet-up. Instead of racking up points on the court, they scored a relationship! 🏓💘 So obviously, a nod to their adorable beginning had to be included. I loved getting to capture those little personal touches that tell their story in such a fun and meaningful way.
Despite the heat, we explored all around Arlington Hall—those dreamy trees, the classic Southern charm, and of course, the picnic setup that looked like it belonged on a magazine cover. Elise and Ben kept things light and playful, which made my job so easy (and fun!).
And the serendipity didn’t stop there—I ran into them two days later at their friends’ wedding! I may have squealed a little when I saw them walk in. (Okay, I definitely did.)
I’m counting down the days until their January wedding at The Hillside Estate! Cooler weather + this joyful couple + that stunning venue = perfection. ❄️✨ Elise and Ben, thank you for braving the heat, sharing your love story, and making me laugh nonstop. I feel so lucky to be part of this season with you!
Stay tuned for their wedding blog in a few months—you know it’s going to be good.
