Delainey and Robert’s Crescent Court Engagement Session is giving me all the winter wonderland vibes! Maybe it was the twinkling lights, the Christmas decor in the Crescent or Delainey’s beautiful emerald green dress. Within minutes of meeting a new couple, I can tell if we are a good fit. This was especially true with Delainey and Robert. I loved having some time to get to know these two and hear about their love story and wedding plans. Both were so easy to talk to. I actually found out during the session that Robert went to the same middle school that I taught at before I went full time with my photography business. #smallworld
These two will be tying the knot next year at Ashton Gardens in Corinth, Texas. This venue is gorgeous and I’m excited to experience my first moonlit ceremony there. Delainey and Robert. Thank you for trusting me to capture your day!

More About the Couple
How did you two meet?
Robert and I met in 2013 through mutual friends. We reconnected years later and it was pretty instant that we knew each other was “the one”.
What was it about your significant other that first attracted you to them?
I was first attracted to how smart and interesting Rob was. We always have the best conversations and definitely remind each other to not take life too seriously!
Tell us your engagement story!
Robert took me to a spot near our apartment. It was decorated with pictures of us and flowers, my best friends and family were all waiting for us after.
What has you most excited when you think about your wedding day?
To be able to finally call Rob my husband!
Do you have any advice for other couples planning their wedding?
Our approach to wedding planning has always been to make sure we enjoy each moment and don’t forget what the special day is really about.
How was your overall session experience?
We had the best time! Kim made it so fun and easy.

Robert is the biggest Dallas Stars fan of all time! He collects game worn jerseys and could probably tell you everyone who has ever played for them.
