Blake and Vincent’s maternity photoshoot at Prather Park in Highland Park captured their excitement and joy for their upcoming arrival. Despite the Texas heat, the couple radiated happiness and anticipation, showcasing their love and readiness to take on parenthood once more. Vincent took such good care of his wife and tried to make sure she was as comfortable as possible. Blake especially enjoyed walking in the cool water of the creek.
I cannot wait to meet their little bundle of joy for their newborn session in about a month. We are planning on an in-home lifestyle session showcasing the new arrival and this amazing blended family.

How have you felt throughout your pregnancy? Were there any special or memorable moments you’d like to share?
Sick, weak, nauseous. I’ve had HG (hyperemesis Gravidarum).
Why did you decide on a home birth?
My hospital stays were not pleasant. Too much medical intervention which I felt made it less safe for the baby and me. And it’s so wonderful and comfortable to be at home with our own germs and with the kids having plenty room.
How was your Highland Park maternity session experience?
It was lovely and you were very good at poses and patient with me and very creative.
What advice would you give to other new moms who are about to begin their own journey?
Everyone’s pregnancy is different. Some people enjoy every moment while others (like me) can’t wait for it to be over.
