Ashlee and Zach’s Engagement at Murrell Park in Flower Mound was down right stunning. Take a look at their pictures and I am sure you’ll agree! They brought their fur baby – Charlie Rose, a spunky Golden Retriever, along for the session!
Gosh, I have been having so much fun lately getting to play with my couple’s pets! Charlie was sweet and loved to play… she definitely added some great energy to their session!

How did you two meet?
Zach and I met in high school! He actually messaged me on Twitter and asked me on a date. I remember getting gelato for our first date and spilling it all over myself!
What was it about your significant other that first attracted you to them?
Zach and I very quickly became best friends. It was so easy to talk to him that we would spend hours and hours just chatting the night away at a park by his house. I was drawn to how comfortable and easy it was to be with him.
Tell us your engagement story!
We were headed out to dinner for our first real date night since pre-pandemic and when our Uber came to pick us up, it was actually a horse and carriage! We rode into Sundance Square and Zach proposed in the middle of the square. From there we finally went to that dinner where our families were waiting to surprise me.
What has you most excited when you think about your wedding day?
Celebrating this new chapter of life with all of our friends and family! I can’t wait to have everyone we love in one room!
Do you have any advice for other couples planning their wedding?
Do your market research and organize, organize, organize! The planning process can be overwhelming, but doing some research to have a base of knowledge before trying to book vendors was very helpful! I listened to podcasts and read blogs about the best questions to ask, things to look for, and all the tips and tricks to stay organized!
How was your overall session experience?
We loved our session! We are one of those couples that gets MAYBE two good photos with each other a year- usually during the holiday season. Kimberly’s posing direction is thorough yet easy to understand and natural. She’s also so fun and sweet and chats with you the whole time!
Share something interesting about your significant other!
Zach is the chef and mixologist in our house! He’s a great cook and ya always coming up with new cocktails! I- on the other hand- am terrible at both!
