Some weddings just radiate joy from start to finish, and Angela and Jesús’s day was one I’ll be smiling about for a long time! From heartfelt moments to hilarious games and mariachi music by the pool—this day had everything.
Angela and Jesús tied the knot in a traditional Catholic ceremony at the stunning Christ the King Catholic Church in Dallas. With its soaring ceilings and intricate stained glass windows, it was the perfect setting for such a meaningful “I do.” As Angela walked down the aisle, you could feel the emotion in the room. Jesús looked absolutely smitten waiting for her—and he looked incredibly sharp in his midnight blue suit. (Seriously, midnight blue is such an underrated wedding look for grooms—it photographs like a dream!)
After the ceremony, we headed to Brookhaven Country Club, and guests kicked off cocktail hour with signature drinks and a live mariachi band, setting the tone for a vibrant and festive evening. The band played as guests mingled in the lobby overlooking the pool.
And then came one of my favorite reception moments ever: a musical chairs-style game that had everyone in stitches! Angela and Jesús each led a team, and the challenge was to race into the crowd to find random items—a belt, a piece of gum, a photo of the couple, and more. It was chaotic, hilarious, and completely unforgettable. Guests were diving into purses, unbuckling belts, waving photos in the air—pure gold.
The dance floor? Absolutely packed all night long. Angela and Jesús’s guests brought their A-game, and the love and energy in the room were next level. Every moment—from the heartfelt toasts to the high-energy dancing—was filled with the kind of joy you can’t fake.
