Guys, some sessions just make my heart so happy. This Downtown Denton Senior Session was definitely one of them. Not because of beautiful landscapes or fancy details but because I got to spend the evening with one of the kindest families I know.
I had Aaron in 6th, 7th and 8th grade theatre and I can tell you from first hand experience that this guy is intelligent, funny, talented and the kindest kid that I probably ever taught.
I’ll never forget that White Elephant Exchange where a student put a bunch of sticks and a pine cone in a bag as a joke and the girl who opened it was so disappointed, When it was Aaron’s turn to pick a gift he, without hesitation, walked over and took the gift of sticks so that his friend could choose another. He was in middle school! My jaw nearly hit the floor!
That is just one of many little things that make me think so highly of him and his wonderful family. He always was looking out for his friends and there to lend an ear or offer words of encouragement.
Because I had Aaron in my class for many years, I had the pleasure of being introduced on several occasions to his family and they are just as amazing!
I never had Ethan in class but the times that I have met him he was just as kind as his brother! Although Ethan’s passion was not in theatre, he did find his home in the Cross Country team at Flower Mound HS. It is clear that he found not only something he really enjoys but found a brotherhood in his teammates.
It was fun getting to capture both of them as they are about to embark on a new chapter of their life. Cristi, you have raised three amazing young gentlemen! I hope that my son will grow up with these same wonderful qualities.
Aaron and Ethan…I can’t wait to see where life takes you! Thanks for letting me capture your downtown Denton senior session!
