Evan and Kristen’s Faith Filled Wedding at Travis Ave Baptist felt like the kind of story that comes full circle—the kind you can’t script any better if you tried.
They began their day at Travis Avenue Baptist, a place layered with meaning. Not only is it Kristen’s home church, but it’s also where her own parents said “I do.” There’s something undeniably powerful about walking down the same aisle where your story, in many ways, first began. The ceremony was heartfelt and reverent, filled with that quiet, emotional weight that only comes from deep roots and lasting faith.
From there, the celebration shifted into full party mode at the elegant Fort Worth Hilton, where classic sophistication met some of the most fun, personality-filled details.
Cocktail hour was anything but ordinary. Instead of traditional drinks, guests were treated to custom dirty sodas—playful, non-alcoholic mixes of Coke and flavored syrups that felt nostalgic and fresh all at once. It was such a creative twist and a total crowd favorite.
Evan brought a sweet piece of his Louisiana roots into the celebration with his groom’s cake: a larger-than-life king cake that immediately became a focal point (and let’s be honest, disappeared quickly). It was the perfect nod to where he’s from and added such a personal layer to the evening.
And as if that wasn’t enough, guests were absolutely spoiled with treats throughout the night. Between the indulgent scoops from Melt Ice Cream and the cozy, late-night pick-me-up from Nightowl Coffee Cart, there was something for everyone—and every craving.
As the night came to a close, Evan and Kristen were sent off in the most magical way: a sparkler exit surrounded by their closest friends and family. Cheers filled the air, sparklers lit up the night, and the energy was pure joy—the perfect ending to a day that honored the past while celebrating everything ahead.
Evan and Kristen’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful celebrations are the ones that feel deeply personal—rooted in where you’ve been and full of excitement for where you’re going next. Enjoy some of my favorite images from their Faith Filled Wedding at Travis Ave Baptist.
