Some wedding days just feel meant to be—and after everything these two had endured with the weather, Mckenna and Ty absolutely deserved the most beautiful day imaginable. All week leading up to their Aristide McKinney wedding, the forecast was calling for thunderstorms. Meanwhile, Ty and the groomsmen were fully embracing Texas tradition: watching the Texas A&M game while getting suited up. (Honestly? One of my favorite groom-suite vibes ever.)
The First Look
Because their ceremony was scheduled for after sunset, a first look was so important. And I’m so glad they did it—it was emotional, peaceful, and full of that quiet excitement that settles in right before the whirlwind begins.

After the “I do’s,” guests were treated to a cocktail hour that was as fun as the couple themselves. Mini golf! Signature drinks! Joy everywhere! I love when couples incorporate something playful and personal into their day—it makes everyone feel like they’re part of the celebration.
Dancing the Night Away
The reception was one big, heartfelt party. Friends and family filled the dance floor, celebrating Mckenna and Ty with so much energy and love. It was one of those nights where no one wanted to leave the dance floor, and every moment felt worth remembering.
