Engagement at The Gaylord Texan | Dallas Wedding Photographer
Chelsea and Antonio’s engagement session at Gaylord Texan was an unforgettable experience. Even though the day was rainy and gloomy, it turned out to be a perfect opportunity to capture the essence of their love story.
The Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center is a popular location for couples to take their engagement photos, and it’s not hard to see why. The resort’s charming architecture and stunning landscapes provide the perfect backdrop for romantic photos.
It wasn’t their original plan but with storms rolling into Dallas that morning, we relocated to this beautiful hotel that offered ample indoor and covered areas to photograph in.
I first met Chelsea when she was a bridesmaid for another one of my brides. I love when I get to serve brides who have already been with me on a wedding day.
These two will be getting married in just two weeks at the beautiful Bella Terra venue in Gunter, Texas. I can’t wait to celebrate them as they start this new chapter of their lives.

More About the Couple
How did you two meet?
Nothing fancy, we just met online on Facebook! We had a lot of mutual friends and grew up in the same neighborhood and we never knew!
What was it about your significant other that first attracted you to them?
We had a shared passion for love of animals (mostly dogs) and music.
Tell us your engagement story!
We went on a trip to Hawaii and during the road to Hana we did an off the beaten path hike on lava rocks and the next thing I knew he was on one knee popping the question!
What has you most excited when you think about your wedding day?
Just spending time with our best friends and family and just enjoying the night together 🙂
Do you have any advice for other couples planning their wedding?
Don’t think too hard about stuff. Just pick something and move on and make sure you enjoy the night and remember no one will know if something didn’t go as planned because you’re the only one who knows what’s suppose to happen.
How was your overall session experience?
So much fun! We laughed a lot and got to enjoy the moment together. We had never done professional pictures together before so it was a first time experience for the both of us.
Share something interesting about your significant other!
Antonio has this weird talent where he can wiggle his ears without touching them! I have tried so hard and i just can’t do it.
Chelsea is very knowledgeable about sports.. all of them! She gets a little crazy watching her favorite teams.
